Continue with Tarangire National Park that is the sixth-largest nature reserve in Tanzania. Named the park, the Tarangire River is the main source of fresh water for the region’s wildlife during the dry season. The park with mountain ranges, river valley, swamps and various vegetation – from seasonal meadows to baobabs, covers an area of ​​about 2850 sq. km. A beautiful quiet safari park is known for its elephant migration and a large number of different birds.

You can visit Tarangire all year long, during the dry months the concentration of animals near the river is greatest. At this time, you can see huge herds of elephants, wildebeests and zebras, as well as giraffes, buffalos, gazelles, leopards and cheetahs. Tour Rules

1. A deposit of 30% is required and the balance to be paid at least 2 weeks before the departure date unless special arrangements are made for payment on departure date.

2. Cancellation received 2 days before the departure date is subject to a 50% cancelation fee while no show will attract 100% fee.

DAY 1 NAIROBI - LAKE MANYARA

Arrive Namanga border town at 10:00 am after immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park on the base of the Great Rift Valley. This park contains five distinct vegetation zone, thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, and its large flock of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara hotel/campsite.

DAY 2 LAKE MANYARA - NGORONGORO CRETER

With picnic lunch leave Manyara after breakfast for Ngorongoro crater for a full day game viewing, with a lunch break at Ngoitok springs. Ngorongoro crater is one of the wonders of the world so nicknamed by many visitors on their 1st visit. The Ngorongoro conversation area, 5,184 sq km has three other small creators - Oldean, Olmoti 3 and Empakaai to the north, and contains animals population of varied species. It was once volcanic with tremendous force, blew and folded to form Calders. Return late afternoon to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3NGORONGORO - TARANGIRE

After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro for Tarangire arriving in time for lunch, afternoon game viewing in Tarangire National Park. One of the most beautiful parks in Tanzanian with regard to animal concentration and abundance. Big herds move down from Ngorongoro, Manyara and surrounding game Reserves to fetch for water and food as Tarangire is full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire safari lodge /campsite.

DAY 4TARANGIRE - NAIROBI

After breakfast drive to Arusha via Mto Wa Mbu village for shopping of Makonde carvings and other souvenirs. After lunch in Arusha drive to Nairobi via Namanga border early evening.
